Chilled fruit exported again from the Port of Madryn

Port Madryn is again one of the outsources for the export of fruit from the neighbouring provinces of Río Negro and Neuquén.

With the arrival of the container ship "Juliana", 30 refrigerated containers with 750 tons of apples and pears from the provinces of Río Negro and Neuquén were embarked, and it is expected in the near future, another shipment of 100 containers and the in the beginning of April 2014, 100 more, being a total of about 5750 tons of fruit to be exported from the Port of Madryn. This loading becomes a new chilled fruit export in a long time through the Port of Madryn to Europe and Russia. It is important to mention that this is the first shipment of fruit that uses the Refrigerated Transfer Chamber owned by the Port Authority in the  fiscal square.
